Our friend Dee has been a long time supporter of our brand and community so we are evermore pleased to share more information about her and her photography journey. She has been a photographer for the upwards of 15 years and the passion of her portfolio shows just how much she enjoys taking photos of her favorite moments! For now, we'll dive into many photos from her trip to Yellowstone and be struck with amazement along side you while we look at photos like this powerful waterfall below.
Dee's journey to Yellowstone was a few years ago and it was the first time she's ever visited. She went in unsure what to expect but after the trip she has said "Yellowstone is a MUST SEE!" We agree with her fully! Yellowstone is a truly remarkable adventure with it's seemingly endless wide open spaces or mountains valleys with the Gardner and Lamar rivers flowing rapidly through them! Even the sightings of wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk can be seen thriving in this untamed wilderness. It's the perfect destination for a photographer to add to their bucket list!
One of the coolest experiences we've seen in Yellowstone are the geysers and hot springs. Dee has some super cool photos she took and we're happy to share them with you here. A fun fact about geysers in Yellowstone is that the park is home to the majority of the world's geysers, and Old Faithful, perhaps the most famous geyser, erupts with remarkable predictability. Old Faithful shoots hot water up to 180 feet in the air, and its eruptions occur approximately every 90 minutes, showcasing the park's incredible geothermal activity. This reliable display has made Old Faithful a natural marvel and a must-see attraction for visitors exploring the wonders of Yellowstone National Park!
Dee is an incredible landscape photographer and she also excels at floral photography. Her Instagram feed is always filled with beautiful hues from vibrant petals of all our favorite flowers. Her go to gear is her Canon but also her trusty iPhone. It's truly amazing how much we can rely on a superb camera that easily fits in our pockets!
She says her biggest photography challenge is photographing people, but has mentioned she wants to learn how to capture the loving moments of wedding photography and the cutest of moments in baby photos. We know if she dedicates the time she'll master it in no time and provide just as amazing photos compared to her landscape, wildlife, and floral photography.
