In this blog we'll step into the captivating realm of MacroLens Magic, where the unseen becomes extraordinary. Through the lens of macro photography, join us in uncovering the intricate details of the small wonders that often go unnoticed. Get ready to be amazed as we explore a world where the tiniest subjects reveal their fascinating stories. Our featured photographer, Edis Memic, is stellar in the macro photography field and below you'll see some of her amazing work and hear about her journey as a photographer!
As mentioned Edis is a superb macro photographer. She's been a photographer for about 5 years now and has an incredible portfolio to show just how amazing she is at her craft. The sheer amount of details she's able to bring to life from the smallest creatures that roam the earth to the vibrant beauty of all of our favorite flowers is truly remarkable! Just look at this incredible capture of a ladybug below if you don't believe me!

Edis also has a great knack for landscape photography. It may be a wider range of lens, but she still doesn't fail to capture the essence of beauty the world has to offer. Her ability to focus on the subject in the forefront while capturing the seemingly endless field behind shows just how talented she has become in the 5 years of her photography journey! YouTube tutorials have been the main source of her learning and she's currently trying to master portrait photography! As with all photography you're able to freeze a certain moment for all time, and she wants to be able to create those memories for people to last a lifetime. We cannot wait to see how well her portrait photography skills develop!

We asked her to share her favorite memory of her photography journey thus far. She mentioned it was a time where she was taking some macro photos of tulips. Taking those photos opened up new avenues for her photography and prompted her to begin sharing more and more of her talent on Instagram. From that moment her page has grown and continues to grow at an accelerated rate! With greatness comes challenges and her perseverance has been paying off. For any struggling photographer reading this I recommend learning from Edis's experience and sticking with your craft and getting out there as much as you can!

Some of the biggest challenges Edis has faced is conquering the patience for a perfect photo. Sure there is luck involved when it comes to timing and other uncontrolled events in the photography world, but patience is a virtue for all of us. Her subjects like butterflies, ladybugs, and all other types of insects are in constant motion so in order to capture a clean photo she has to remain idly by until the moment presents itself. Photography should never be a rushed endeavor. We should all be patient for our moment and be ready to learn as we go!

Macro photography is truly an amazing spectacle and we are so happy Edis was willing to share with us so we could share with all of you. Please see below where you can find more information about her and give her a follow on Instagram so you can stay up to date on her endeavors!
